The objective of this e-learning course is to present the basic elements necessary for fire prevention in an industrial environment (maintenance and periodic checks, compliance with instructions, management of work with the fire permit, prevention plan, etc.). The e-learning course also presents the essential elements to know to fight fire (organization of intervention teams, actions to implement)
Audience
This module is aimed at staff in industrial establishments (employees, temporary workers, interns, etc.).
Objectives of the training
At the end of the “Fire: the basics” training, the learner will, in particular, be able to:
- identify the main causes of fire;
- understand the development and spread of a fire;
- know the main measures aimed at preventing the occurrence of a fire;
- identify and implement emergency means aimed at promoting the fight against fire and limiting its spread;
- organize yourself as a team and adopt consistent behavior during a fire.

The module includes numerous exercises and filmed scenarios. It is supplemented by a summary document to download. The learner will be able to consult this document as soon as necessary.
At the end of the training, the learner is evaluated. The analysis of the results obtained makes it possible, when necessary, to implement appropriate corrective measures. A knowledge positioning test – offered before the training – can also complete this module.
